Runs well as long as you fix the audio and run it on proton 5.0
The audio will not work unless you download the latest OpenAL library and replace the one in the game's install folder. See D1SoveR's explanation on how to easily do this on the HROT demo protondb page: https://www.protondb.com/app/973020
On proton versions above 5.0, the game ran horribly (<50 FPS in the starting area of the first level) no matter what graphics settings were chosen. It runs fine on 5.0 though.
Launcher opens, but game does not start
Likely due to the gameguard anti-cheat.
Runs fine with minor graphical issues
Game runs fine but some text is formatted slightly wrong and is partially hidden. It also very often fails to update the screen when going to a new tab or window, which can be rectified by simply clicking a tab again or highlighting text to force the screen to refresh. The latter problem seems to be much less prevalent on proton 4.2 compared to 4.11, 5.0, or GE.
