This is a bad experience compared to Windows.
PhysX sucks on Linux.
PhysX sucks on Linux, even on my new GPU. Gameplay starts to lag after an hour of two of playing, resulting in a CTD.
Crashes every two hours.
PhysX is unplayable.

Another quality gaming experience for a platinum rated game
If the same issues are present on other proton versions, it's best to give it some time for now.
Every now and then would experience slowdowns to about 10 FPS. This would last for about 5 seconds. As one can imagine, this is not good for a fast-paced game like this one.
With experimental, it crashed while playing online with others after the first night. I will edit this when I try hotfix next. It didn't just crash the game, but my entire wayland session.
PROTON_NO_D3D12=1 %command%
The new DLC came out today. Currently, the game would not launch properly until I ran with: PROTON_NO_D3D12=1 %command%
It complained about DX12 not being present on the system otherwise.
Game loads up and seems to play without issues, but not able test DLC area yet.
It's so nice to play a game that's properly optimized for PC (looking at you, From). Plays on my 3060ti on max quality settings and 4k resolution at 60fps.
When there are a lot of effects, it will both drop inputs and buffer wrong ones.
If you get to anything near endgame, the game becomes a stuttering mess.
Unclear if this is a Linux thing or not, but it's better to wait until this is addressed.
