Zany sandbox adventure "satire" mix of games like (thematically and gameplay) Crash Tag Team Racing, Worms 4: Mayhem and Ape Escape 3
Settings to high, resolution scaling to about 85
Graphics to Low, DRS to performance
Crackling fixed with the PULSE setting mentioned elsewhere, but sometimes broke between changing Proton versions.
Alt tab causes black screen when reentering, have to close and restart
No matter Esync, compute settings, or ANY graphics settings changes, even on 460 drivers, across multiple proton versions (5.0, 5.13, GE5.9, GE6.1), FPS constantly remains in the 30-45 range when loaded into a level (~60 in main menu).
Will try with different kernel version at some point but not sure otherwise.
Fixed with PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=60
Alt tab in full screen causes black screen when tabbing back.
On some nvidia systems, there is a driver bug which causes the game to not allocate VRAM properly. You can confirm this by seeing the in-game settings UI's VRAM display, then comparing by running nvidia-smi in terminal and seeing far less assigned VRAM to the game.
At the time of writing, the workaround for this is to set __GLX_VENDOR_LIBRARY_NAME=bla
in your launch options, instead of __GLX_VENDOR_LIBRARY_NAME=nvidia
.
Turn antialiasing off if frames are low for no discernible reason
Seems it refuses to use dGPU, but on modern hardware it seems antialiasing is the biggest performance hit.
Tried all sorts of GPU settings in a previous report to try and force GPU usage, to no avail. But fiddling with settings until things became stable worked.
Audio crackling on the Early Access release seems to be a problem for Windows users too.
Another bug affecting Windows users as well is a black screen on launch. For proton, the workaround is to use Proton 6.1-GE-2 AND do the media foundation fix for the game https://github.com/z0z0z/mf-installcab
Doesn't seem a common problem, but game ignoring GPU selection makes standard resolutions unplayable when using the iGPU.
On Ubuntu 24.04 with an intel igpu and nvidia dgpu, game refuses to use the dedicated GPU and tanks frames at anything above 800p resolution. Have tried all force-selection fixes I can find. Results range from nothing to errors about Direct X 9 compatibility to crash on launch with no message.
All attempts refuse to use the dGPU, so framerate is abysmal
fingers crossed for a fix soon

Does not use dgpu on laptop
Multiplayer doesn't work - potentially related to network config if you can't port forward
Could not connect to any invited game
Single player is fine
