Game hangs on initial "TELEPORTING" load screen and plays music
Tried alternative and older versions of proton, all had the same issue
Also caused my PC to crash once, did try using multiple proton versions and launch settings, including -safe, couldn't generate log because adding that launch setting caused whole system to crash
Game still doesn't work, all I get is a black screen with the "teleporting" text, but audio still plays
+r_initialModeHeight1440" +r_initialModeWidth 2560" -safe
Tried running this with Steam Proton 9.0-4, Proton GE 9-25 and 9-23, same issue on all. Sometimes the Steam client would become unresponsive as well, before crashing and also taking Firefox with it for some reason.
Requires a mod to perform the same as it did for me using the same hardware on Windows 10

Opening FMV does not play right, both audio and video hangs every few seconds, then resumes before hanging again
Game does work pretty well with DDMK mod (used to turn off Bloom, Blur, and Motion Blur filters) and launch settings listed above. I found that The opening FMV does work properly if you replace "DXVK_ASYNC=1" with "PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1" which also fixes the crashes I was getting in the Skill List menu. It did cause Steam Input to malfunction (I was using a DualShock 4 and the controller bindings were wrong, and the D-Pad didn't register at all), and also caused cutscenes to stutter significantly, though the stutter might not be a problem on better hardware.
