Crackling issues that are really inconsistent and difficult to reproduce; the problem disappears after some time or after a reboot. In almost 100 hours it happened something like 4-5 times.
EAC prevents any attempt to access online multiplayer
Cutscenes are completely broken; it seems they get scaled and colored in pink
By default the game boots but the stuttering makes it basically unplayable.
After following the instructions in this post (https://www.reddit.com/r/PSO2NGS/comments/vntr3k/how_to_get_pso2_working_on_steam_deck/) the game works almost seamlessly, except:
- some minor lag (acceptable IMHO) when loading lots of stuff at once
- players' and NPCs' skins sometimes take a bit to load
Capped the game to 50fps
Since it's an MMO, there's lot of stuff in the HUD, and making the text bigger sometimes results in windows overlapping.
Heavy stuttering with the default installation
With the default Proton version cutscenes are totally black and cannot even be paused. Proton Experimental doesn't work either.
