Game launches but video is choppy, even disabling esync and vsync inside game. Playable but not fun.
Game is still in DEMO so, I had to remove the "3D GRASS" for the game to be able to achieve more than 20fps. There is a lot to fix in this game yet, but again, it's on demo and you can use F1 in-game to report stuff. So far, my biggest concerns are
- Way too low FPS when 3D Grass effect is on. I just literally disabled that option and FPS went from 27 to 144.
- Camera is still anoying. You cant rotate freely 360 degree and keep rotating. You have to rotate 270 degree to each side so there are some moments where camera isn't really good
- Game options aren't keep after you close the game
- Controller support is still not that good, and some actions take too much time to achieve.
- Boitatá boss/quest/puzzle crashes sometimes so, instead of you getting killed and restart the puzzle, game will just hang there.
Again, game is in demo so, this might be better on the future.
Sometimes, camera rotation is way slower than configured. Also, since game is not keeping configs after quiting, you have to remember to put mouse movement for camera at the highest level.
Significant performance issues with 3D Grass enabled. My brother uses Windows on his laptop so, does not seems to be a Linux only issue.
Ocasional crashes on Boitatá puzzle
Games is in its development stage so, it's a nice product if you take into consideration the team will fix it.
Runs perfectly without having to tweak ESYNC related stuff as said on other reports. Works also with Xbox 360 wired controllers with zero conf.
Fullscreen was not triggered at the first launch but, I was able to change it at the options making tha game even smoother from a scaling/graphic perspective.
It is easy to find a game at the lobby, low latency even with the amount of objects and projectiles this game can have. Trully awesome.
Plug and play. Paired an external bluetooth controller and played with my wife.
Game even have an "Alternative Font" configuration right after you first boot the game, making it easier to read in-game text on the small Steam Deck screen. It's a more "traditional" Arial-like font instead of the pixelated one that is typical from this game. It is running pretty solid on deck, and playing during the night with screen brightness set to something near 20% I was able to drain only 15% of battery after 1:30h of gameplay
Only thing that i could not get working was the controllers(Xbox 360 wired ones), but that seems also to be a problem running this game on Windows.
Worked out of the box. Install and play, 70+ fps during gameplay
Multiplayer does not connect and keeps popping up that will not be able to connect
Fun like the old ones, except multiplayer is missing. Got steady 144fps with dips to 120 and 110fps here and there. Pretty solid performance I must say.
