Since there is no cloud saves or sync, deleting the game will also delete your save data. Backup your save data.
Servers are not populated since this is essentially an outdated version of DS2, if you wish to play online, play the Scholar of the First Sin version.
If you wish to mod the game, I recommend using the UXM unpacker and running it via protontricks.

Deleting the game also deletes its prefix. Since the game features no cloud saves or sync, you will loose your save game, backup your save data.
Exponential VRAM usage at 4K, the game somehow uses more VRAM than Elden Ring.
If you wish to mod the game, I recommend using the UXM unpacker and running it using protontricks.

Added stability on Linux systems due to how VK3D handles shader caching.
Works pretty well, but could be better (also, better performance on CPU bottlenecked systems).
There appear to be some missing textures (some weapon magazines, tip of artillery shells).
Bordelless fullscreen was overriden by the task bar. Fullscreen had issues alt tabing.
Apart from the issues presented, the performance boost is welcome for CPU bottlenecked systems.

Vertex explosions on character meshes.
Not recommended to change fullscreen mode when not on the main menu, lest the game crash the OS.
Heavy Stuttering at game load.
Game easts up system RAM or VRAM on some sessions (could be a memory leak), causing OS crash.
Game suffers from what seems to be RAM and VRAM leaks, as some sessions end up using way more resources than others. Vertex explosions at random on meshes, I haven't found a fix for it. Heavy stuttering on game load and start, could be related to the DirectStorage implementation (on Windows, the game stutters on what seems to be a poor implementation of asset decompression via DirectStorage, the same stutters are exacerbated on Linux).
Currently, I don't recommend playing the game on Linux, unless you have a beefy PC and are whiling to put up with the bugs.
Yeah, new update borked the game.

Borderless fullscreen didn't work on first boot, issue fixed itself later.
Increased VRAM usage, may cause stuttering when playing on higher resolution monitors.
You may or may not find some extra stutteting on first boot and on 8GBs GPUs. Vertex explosions seem fine now, no need to hide your nvidia gpu anymore.
