Windowing:Activating Fullscreen
If you switch to Fullscreen from Borderless Windowed, the game will launch into a black screen. Going into /home/[user]/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/553850/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/Roaming/Arrowhead/Helldivers2 and changing maximized_window = true and fullscreen = false fixes this.
It definitely runs better on Linux than on Windows in my case, on Windows I'd max out at 80 FPS but on Linux I'm looking at ~110 FPS on lowest settings, not sure why. Really good looking game despite the low graphics settings and a nice way to waste some time. Queue times are atrocious at the current moment but joining friends bypasses this issue.
