Enabling VSync raises the fps cap from 60 to 78 and no higher. The linux native build uses OpenGL while the Windows one uses DXVK when running with proton.
Ingame windowed mode flickered on first launch but fixed itself later. The window border style looks older than me but that's probably a wine thing.
Feels faster than mobile even if capped at 60fps. The kernel complains constantly about a "grap-core64.aes" process: "UMIP : SGDT instruction cannot be used by applications." which can clutter the system journal. Maybe an anticheat thing, maybe not (if there's a banwave after this, we'll know xd).
Works like a charm. The Everest installer is available in the AUR and works perfectly as well.
VTuber pixel game runs really well, a surprise to noone.
Runs flawlessly (not surprising since the game has an official linux version on Itch)
gamemoderun prime-run %command%
High load on a few CPU cores leads to higher than usual temps but its nothing crazy. The game runs better on linux than on windows for me (~20 extra fps)
prime-run %command%
Guaranteed crash on startup on Archlinux if you don't have lib32-jemalloc. You can get it from the AUR.
If you want to use mangohud on Arch you'll also need lib32-mangohud from the multilib repository, otherwise it won't work (even with --dlsym).
Constant mild artifacting in the sky in open worlds. Doesn't ruin the experience but it's quite annoying. Also happened in the mission select screen (navigation) on first launch but never afterwards.
VKD3D_FEATURE_LEVEL=12_0 PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 DXVK_ASYNC=1 gamemoderun %command%
Pretty bad spikes in frametimes out of box. Adding PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 DXVK_ASYNC=1 VKD3D_FEATURE_LEVEL=12_0, switching DirectX to 12 and disabling VSync seems to fix it.
High RAM usage and maxed out cpu when running on DX11.
Runs really well. The camera points down whenever I exit a menu (like hitting Esc) which is quite annoying but it's most likely a problem with my own setup.
