Doesn't work either natively or under proton
Running the native version shows the Construct 3 splash screen, and then a "Site not Found" error from Firebase. Running the Windows version through Proton, the game just gets stuck on a white screen forever.
Runs almost flawlessly, no tweaking needed
Runs at about half the framerate compared to running it natively on Windows
Performance is about the same in every Proton version; on my PC, it runs at an average of 45 ~ 50 FPS on official maps, and 60 ~ 70 FPS on custom maps (Ultra quality). However, gameplay still feels smooth, despite the non-ideal performance.
Installing custom content is fairly easy once you find the folder, which should be ".steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/962730/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/My Documents/Skater XL" (create it if it doesn't exist).
On the beta version, installing mods was fairly easy through UMM (as long as you were able to find the executable). I suspect it will be the same once mods get ported to 1.0.
Worked perfectly out of the box
Using Proton-5.4-GE-3; I've only played online with some friends, which worked flawlessly. Haven't tested other online modes, though.
6.10-GE-1 GloriousEggroll
One of the intro splashes require Media Foundation to run, so (as of right now) using Proton-GE or running mf-install is required. Confirmed working on both Proton-6.4-GE-1 and Proton-6.10-GE-1; fix might not be required in the future once MF support is added to "regular" Proton.
