Works great
Works great. One weird thing is poor native vulkan implementation, works ~15% slower than doing DirectX11->Vulkan translation.
Frame drops in "chernobylite dimension" when looking at detailed objects
Whenever returning from room to "change memories", whole device freezes, and needs hard reset. Probaby caused by running out of memory.
Game runs smooth when locked to 30 fps. If set to low quality, can even play without fsr or reduced internal resolution. Occasionally game can overload system and whole steam deck crashes but it never caused any save corruption. Overall game can be completed and whole experience can be considered comfortable.
Never had any problems. FPS can drop a bit when there is a lot enemies and effects on the screen but it's barely noticable.
PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% width=1920 height=1080 fullscreen=true vsync=off maxfps=60 nointro=true
Framerte below playable level
Maximizing window crashes game
Game doesn't launch without custom launch options. Can't go fullscreen, performance inadequate to hardware.
Works flawlessly with latest proton.
Works great with proton 5.0 but has unplayable performance in proton 4.2
Crash after 1-2 seconds of black screen
SHOWMOVIE : 0 on both Settings.cfg and STEAM_Settings.cfg - nothing changed
Tested with proton: experimental, 7.0-4, GE 7-41. Always crashes
Game work flawlessly. Even performance is much better. Had performance and stability problems in the past but it's all resolved
Can't load gameplay
DXVK_FRAME_RATE=60 %command% -nosplash -skipintro -useallavailablecores
installed and forced through protontricks: dotnet48, vcrun2017, vcrun2019. Replaced xaudio2. tried with proton 9.0-3, proton experimental and GE-proton9-14. Game always starts but always fails to load new or saved world.
DXVK_FRAME_RATE=60 %command% -nosplash -skipintro -useallavailablecores
Could not load save nor start new game in the past. After many proton versions later, works as good as native. Didn't test multiplayer or mods though.
%command% -nosplash -skipintro
World view distance set to 5km, frames locked to 30fps
Game supports gamepads but by default controller is set to disabled. Needs to be manually changed.
Main menu background video maxes out CPU, doesn't seem to be any setting to turn it off.
Game seems really heavy, especially on CPU. Other than that, game launches and plays without problems.
Works better than on Windows
While on Windows mouse cursor is choppy, on Linux is perfectly smooth.
