As an isometric strategy game, it's hard to enjoy playing when it seems like characters are on different coordinates than they actually are.
Sprites always appear on top of 3D models (incorrectly), so a character behind a building will look like it's hovering over a building, instead of being hidden. This makes the perspective very confusing and hard to play.

If you were to attempt playing it as it stands, you'd have to rotate the camera in all four isometric directions on every turn to verify exactly where each character currently is.
Proton 7.0.3 fixed the sprite layering issue that used to make the game display incorrectly!
Now runs perfectly. Used to have visual problems before 14th June 2022.
Cloud save issues make the game untrustworthy to play on both PC and Steam Deck as your entire saved game can be deleted in an instant.
Upon installation on Steam Deck, it automatically overwrote the cloud save with a fresh install, deleting all data and overwriting it on PC too.
Unable to play with the Steam Deck by itself as the onscreen keyboard has no function keys.
Plugging in an external keyboard then pressing F11 makes it fullscreen and playable.
DosBOX logo and DosBOX prompt appears, then the game closes completely and kicks you back to the Steam Deck UI.
Not playable.
