Works BETTER than Windows out of the box.
Doesn't run at full framerate when not fullscreened. When tabbing out during loading the game will go black and require a re-launch.
With the same hardware on Windows the game would sometimes TURN OFF MY COMPUTER. This doesn't happen on Linux with Proton. The game is overall much more stable on Linux.
Does not connect to Hunt servers by default, launching with Proton Experimental fixes this
After playing for 900 hours on windows 10/11 and having many performance issues over the years, I was surprised to find that Hunt ran very well out of the box on Linux. However, it did not connect to any servers by default (ping for all regions showed as 0ms). Only tinker needed was using Proton Experimental, which resolved this issue.
Ran perfectly with no tinkering
Can only change resolution in Windowed mode.
Game runs perfectly out of the box, no tinkering needed!

Renamed installScript.vdf so that the EA App doesn't get installed.
