Currently running the game on Proton-6.21-GE-2 and the game seems be running perfectly fine.

Tinker Steps:Switch to older version: 8.0-5
I tried a few versions of Proton, mostly new ones. The one that finally worked for me was 8.0-5. The others go to the launcher, you try to launch the game and it fails to launch. 8.0-5 worked first try.

I was able to launch the game in Experimental by removing the videos. The menu was running at a very low frame rate. I was able to get to the login screen but it then crashed after Iog-in.

Overall (online):Excellent
Add %command% --disable-gpu to the launch options if you have a white box launcher issue. Disable compositor and run GameMode for best performance. Without GameMode I would get 60fps in large fights and with GameMode I would run 120~.
