I got up to the main menu
Out of box it did not start. With Proton-experimental it the launcher started, but the game frozen while loading main menu. then I used proton 6.14-GE-2, but still nothing. At the end I used this launch option in steam, and with this the game started, but crashed after main menu. WINEDLLOVERRIDES="cchromaeditorlibrary64=" %command%
Game starts. It crashes when you try to load a save.
When you try to load a save, it start to eat up system resources up to the point, freezing up and crashing the whole system. I tried it with experimental, and the last stable version of proton. The same results.
The base game works but none of the DLCs
I can't see the manage DLC option on the steam client. Not on the game's page, not if you right click on the game, and go for properties. I tested on my other games the manage DLC option appears at both location. I bought all of the dlc, but can play none. (The in game content menu tells you, thet the DLC is not installed or downloaded)
Steam client Proton DLC bug
If you want to play with DLC-s they will appear only if you turn on steamplay (proton) to all of the games in your library. If you enable proton only for this game, they will not appear.
I don't know the original game, but on loading screens it has no audio. But maybe the vanila game has no audio there too. Its not a big issue.
First run game asked me graphic options, before launch. I choose max resolution, but otherwise turned off v-sync and antialiasing. The in game menu told me they are on.
Not woriking
I tried it with the latest proton-GE too, but didn't start. Black screen. It sais i do not meet the game requirements (I'm well over the suggested specs) and ask wheater I want to run the game anyway. When I click yes, it close the window, and in 3 seconds, the whole game closes.
