Most of the text is pretty small and can be hard to read. Diologue boxes and diologue choice text is small.
Works great with the default Proton 9.0-4 as of 2/23/25. No tinkering needed!

Works fine out of the box as of 2/23/25 with default Proton 9.0-4. Make sure to enable gamepad on the main game menu. (Hold Steam button and use right track pad to select it)
If you you're patient and can deal with occasional crashes and sub-par graphics, you may be ok playing until game is optimized better.
The game does not support 16:10, so change resolution to 720p and deal with black bars at the top and bottom.
Unstable frame rate, despite every graphical setting being set at the lowest they could go.
Experienced several hard crashes back to the Steam Deck main menu which mostly occurred during battles with larger monsters.
Game will occasionally load up fine, but once in game, the screen is completely black with only audio working, prompting a restart.
Using FSR and Frame Generation is a must for this game. I would suggest locking the frame rate to 30fps and not expect anything more than that, actually expect 25-30 most of the time. This is more of a Capcom optimization issue than Linux issue. Steam Deck may not be the place to play this one if you cannot accept major concessions in the graphic and framerate departments.
