The game runs under Proton but when I connect the steam deck to a TV with 1920x1080 resolution the deck struggles to maintain constant 30fps in certain locations.
Using Steam Linux Runtime Scout 1.0 on the steam deck the game works perfectly without any drop in fps, I limited it to 30fps then I set the antialiasing to TAA, and i connected to the TV in 1920x1080 it works perfectly, with controller support.
Had to switch to the native linux build (improves perf and battery over Proton)
Menu text is a tad small, but still readable.
Switching to the native linux build (by selecting "Steam Linux Runtime" in the compatibility options) improved performance and battery usage. At max settings, the game now runs 40-60, but has occasional stutters.
Even without changing this, the game was perfectly playable using the default proton version (@40Hz).
Text is a bit small, but still readable.

PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command%
Played GOG version with Proton 7.0-1.
Switched to the native version as Valve set Proton as a default for this game
Switched to the native version to save DXVK and Proton overhead in favor for better battery life and slightly better performance.
Text in the main menu is a bit small and hard to read on 1280x800 resolution
Even on lowest in-game settings the game can not keep a steady 60fps on Deck.
Swithcing to the native version instead of Proton however gives you a few fps but still in a margin of error after all.

Ran fantastic when playing both offline and online

PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command%
For whatever reason the native version of the game would not launch. Have not looked into why the native version did not launch yet, but at least playing the game through Proton worked great. If you have any issues with the native version, try using Proton, its completely playable.

Proton-5.9-GE-5-ST GloriousEggroll
Runs Natively on Linux, but input is laggy, I am using listed GE Proton and input is fine.
