Something about the game suddenly spikes up the CPU/GPU usage. Because of that, the stats on the battery life isn't accurate and can be shorter. I recommend setting the TDP to 3-4 watts to avoid this issue.
In the game setting, set the Window Mode to FullScreen and FullScreen Mode to full. Otherwise the game window is cut-off or too small.
When I launched it months ago, it couldn't read the input from the controller. Touching the screen somehow made the input work. Now it is working fine.
Sometimes frame drops but it was due to flashy skills animation
Set to 30 fps limiter
No graphical preset tinkering, no control tinkering. Everything is given to you by the dev.
There is a weird behaviour from the game. It will use all the CPU power and waste a lot of battery, it is better to limit the TDP. I set mine to 3 watt and it works perfectly fine. I also cap it at 30 fps.
Crackling happens randomly when you put the Deck to sleep. Sometimes the audio is fine when you wake the device, sometimes it's worse that it introduces out of sync (faster audio?) problem.
Surprisingly this game does not require Ubisoft Connect App, because of that the game has a lot less issue compared to its sequel. I finish the game from start to finish without any frustrating problem that is caused by Proton. I had to tinker a bit but it's minimal. Because this game is lightweight, I managed to have the battery run for 6-7 hours long.
The official layout is horrible, I created my own control that uses the standard gamepad. I use the L4 for sprinting, R4 for secondary fire, and R5 for the Operator mode.
The left trackpad I used it for shortcut for abilities (1, 2, 3, 4 Square tiles) and the right trackpad is for the right joystick.
I use gyro for precise aiming and only enabled when L2 is fully pressed.
The graphic presets are given from the game itself and seem to be the best in terms of performance. I only had to scale down the resolution by 75% and disable the motion blur.
I set the TDP to 8 watts and use the 40 fps limiter. Battery life can go from 4 to 5 hours.
The launch window has to use the touchscreen to press the play button.
Things can slow down in multiplayer due to other warframe abilities or enemies' quantities. Open-world maps like Orb Vallis and Plains of Eidolon are working smoothly but Cambion Drift is where it has slight performance problems. Normal missions are fine.
When you launch the game, it greets you with a login screen. You have to type your password every time. First-time launch, you have to type your email.
