To the untrained eye, the game runs flawlessly. However, for people like me who like to speedrun these games, there's a really annoying micro stuttering issue, which is mostly noticeable in Crash Bandicoot 3 in the motorcycle levels. There's no framedrops nor performance issues otherwise, and it runs fine with locked 60 FPS at max detail. It's simply that the game pauses for a couple frames as if it's loading data in the background every second or so.
Because the stutters happen more frequently in the motorcycle levels, it's possible to not be able to jump high enough in the ramps, even when going at max speed. If the stutter happens at the top of the ramp, Crash will not jump high enough and miss boxes that might be in the air.
This did not happen at all in this same hardware when I used Windows, with all the drives formatted as NTFS. All my drives are currently formatted as ext4, and the game is installed in an SSD, so it shouldn't be a compatibility issue.
