You have to manually install Uplay. To do this you need to have "wine" installed on your system. Install Uplay using the following command:
WINEPREFIX="/home/myusername/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/965320/pfx/" wine "/home/myusername/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/The Settlers 7 - History Edition/Data/Support/UplayInstaller.exe/UplayInstaller.exe"
I could not open the Uplay overlay yet. This might cause problems joining a multiplayer game.
