I definitely get a playable experience because I have been in dozens of matches with this setup already. No launch options needed.
Sometimes when I swtich desktops, the window follows me. Doing this twice usually fixes it.
There is some stuttering that happens when loading. This is likely Proton I/O is a bit slower than native I/O and because I put this game on an HDD. Installing this game on an SSD may mitigate some or all stuttering.
Sometimes the game freezes for a few seconds during a match. Sometimes it resumes play like nothing happened, and sometimes the game crashes.
Theres a bit more lag than I would expect, but definitely playable since I was ranked #1 in multiple matches.
In rare cases, I get this FPS stutter that happens every 0.5 seconds or so. Restarting the game works, and I think it happens after clicking+dragging your mouse across the map grid before a match starts.
Looks like quite a fun game. I am making my way through the prologue and have just paused the game to give a contribution here on ProtonDB.
My hardware is technically below the minimum requirements, but there may be some performance loss not due to hardware. With tinkering & launch options one may be able to get it to run just as fast as it would on Windows with the same hardware.
