It works fine allthough it has a lot of frame drops but reducing the graphics settings a little reduces these frame drops to around one a minute. I had some mouse problems but this was fixed with starting in windowed mode.
It works when using the benchmark to test tweaks with graphics drivers. Works about as well as on windows. Haven't really played the game, I guess there is a reason why they call it ashes of the bencmark.
It works pretty nice. Performance not quite on the level of windows but pretty playable apart from some nasty frame drops every now and then.
This game used to work a few weeks ago, now I just press play, it says "preparing to launch the witness" and it crashes.
The game is stuttery, but if you let it sit for a while the framerate seems to get a bit better. Good enough for 2d puzzles.
Framerate is kinda bad, I think it is still translating directX to vulkan, while, if I understand correctly, this game should support native Vulkan.
Not sure what I did to get stuff working again, I installed some vulkan stuff and I guess the amdgpu-pro-installer van aur, not sure what fixed it.
When I click play, a menu with a beaver and a ! pops up, which loads half way and then just closes.
I tried everything I could think of, x11, wayland, optirun, no optirun, like 6 different proton versions, restarting the computer, reinstalling the game. I had the same problem on my desktop a while ago, and there, using an older version of proton fixed it, no such luck on my laptop. (System info is incorrect, that is my desktop. I have an i7 7500U and an nvidia 940MX in my laptop)
