🐛 Issues

• Severe frame stuttering after the first match following each game launch — renders the game unplayable.
• Minor, persistent microstuttering.
• DLSS options missing from settings menu.
  
  

🔧 Fixes

1. Eliminate Severe Frame Stuttering

Set the following launch option: LD_PRELOAD=""

This completely resolved the heavy stuttering after the first match.

2. Fix Microstuttering & Improve FPS

Edit the following file: /home/user/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/1361210/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/Roaming/Fatshark/Darktide/user_settings.config

3. Restore Missing DLSS Options

Steps:

• Download this .run file
• Make it executable: chmod +x NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-535.216.01.run
• Extract: ./NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-535.216.01.run -x
• Copy nvngx.dll and _nvngx.dll to: /home/user/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/Warhammer 40,000 DARKTIDE/binaries/
