Open a terminal and edit the following command to fit your directory path
WINEPREFIX=/path/to/steamapps/compatdata/39120/pfx winetricks d3dcompiler_43 d3dx9_43
Works fine with no graphical issues after that. Launcher updates without issues.
The game works fine with Proton 4.11-13 for the modded environment. However, no success with later Proton versions.
You ned to set WINEESYNC="0" \ in the Proton run script as detailed on my blog.
ENB does not work. Although this requires further testing with later releases of enbhost.exe.
FNIS requires dotnet40 to be force-installed into the Skyrim proton prefix in order to get FNIS working in a modded environment. And the Windows version needs to be set to Win7.

The game fails to launch after the EA app updates via Steam. This requires manual intervention to fix.
The game works fine after first install. However, I have noticed that further updates to the EA app via Steam updates prevent the game from launching. This requires the user to remove the existing Proton prefix and generate a new one.
