Using Proton-6.14-GE-1 and it skips launcher, splash/movies play. No crashing. Smooth as butter!

I had initially tried Proton - Experimental. It worked, albeit with a few graphical errors on the loading screen. FunCom would crash with fatal error after roughly 1 hour. Once I installed Proton-6.14-GE-1 and set the override in Steam it skipped the FunCom launcher and all splash screens and movies played properly. Game ran smooth as silk and I just finished a 3-4 hour session without any issues.
No discernible issues with my setup. Ran the game at 1440p with a mix of High and Ultra settings. Smooth as butter.

Download Proton-6.21-GE-1 from Glorious Eggroll's github
Place Proton-6.21-GE-1 in /home/username/.steam/steam/compatibilitytools.d
Set Planetside 2 compatibility to use the above fork of Proton by right-clicking on Planetside 2 in steam library and selecting Propertities/Compatibility.
Check Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool.
Select Proton-6.21-GE-1 from the drop-down list.
Note: If you have a white launcher you will need to delete your previous prefix in ...steam/steamapps/compatdata/
Delete folder 218230 (Planetside 2's appID). A new one will be created when you launch the game next time.

Xbox app launched ( I had an account on windows store version previously) I signed in and linked account with steam.
All my gold and cosmetics were there. Plays like a dream!
