Runs better than on Windows, didn't have any issues whatsoever while playing after adding a command in the launch options.
Added "WINEDLLOVERRIDES="dinput=n" %command% -nothreading" (without quotes) into the launch options
Works great out of the box, doesn't have the issues I had on Windows 10 such as stuttering and laggy menu.
Ran protontricks --gui with terminal, selected Persona 4 Golden, selected "default wineprefix", clicked on install DLL, selected wmp9, devenum, quartz, vcrun2015, xact and d3dx11_43.
Tip: If you are running Persona 4 Golden outside of Steam (for some reason), make sure there are no spaces in your path to the Persona 4 Golden .exe and add it as a non Steam game. Then, click on properties, and "Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool", choose the latest version of Proton. After clicking play, your non Steam game should appear when running protontricks --gui.

Very small issue, the game accepts all input even if you are in Steam overlay, unfocusing the window by clicking outside of it or even moving the window. This issue doesn't affect normal gameplay whatsoever
Crashes rarely, from what I know it happens only when I have RAM intensive programs open
