Problems with NVidia 570 driver?

FFXVI Fix v0.8.5 from Github
Game functioned (not well, but acceptably) on 565 drivers. Main menu freeze on 570.
gamemoderun PROTON_HIDE_NVIDIA_GPU=1 PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 VKD3D_DISABLE_EXTENSIONS=VK_NV_low_latency2 _GL_SHADER_DISK_CACHE_SKIP_CLEANUP=1 %command%
Using an Xbox One Elite 2 controller, I had to disable vibration in game (option via the main menu). Without disabling the option, a single vibration sent to the controller would break controller support and the controller would no longer work.
Without the PROTON_HIDE_NVIDIA_GPU=1 option, I experience extremely variable framerates, especially slow in fight sequences. With the option, the game is playable though frames are not as high as I think they should be given my hardware.
I am using Proton Experimental set to bleeding edge due to recent crash fixes for MHWilds added to the bleeding edge repository. While using Bleeding Edge and the supplied launch options I have experienced no crashes.
Connectivity issues experienced with multiplayer are most likely server-side.
