I dont think the average user is going to edit the registry with a text editor just to play risk.
Tinker Steps:Changed configuration
Game did not map mouse correctly, cursour was seen by the game to be ~500 pixels higher than it was. This was fixed by switching to windowed mode. However the setting for windowed mode is at the bottom of settings, where i cannot click.
Manually edited the user.reg file in ~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/1128810/pfx/user.reg This line must end in a 3 "Screenmanager Fullscreen mode_h3630240806"=dword:00000003
