Would only recommend linux if Windows is not an option. Laggy performance in some areas could be a big turn-off for some people.

Performance:Slight Performance Problems
Performance not nearly as good as Windows. However, it is still playable in the open world with about 30FPS and easily 60FPS in less-open areas.

A little more lag than expected than on Windows. However, this could be an internet connection issue.

On occasion, my mouse will detach from the game window. This normally occurs when in any in-game menu. Easily resolved by left-clicking once out of the menu screen.
