The native Linux port out-of-the-box is unplayable. After tinkering, the game is playable, but not perfect.

Performance:Significant Performance Problems
Significant stuttering out-of-the-box, unplayable without tinkering
The biggest improvement to my performance came after adding the '-threads 2' launch command.
The Linux port is disappointing and should be fixed by Valve to work out-of-the-box on all hardware, but after significant tinkering, the game is playable, but not perfect.
