Borderless Windowed is just windowed at full res.
Occasionally during things that do not appear graphically intensive (mostly particle based things), the game will slow down significantly. During Lambda Core this was near-paralysing in one scenario.
The game will occasionally crash when gunshots or explosions are generated - this has only happened for me twice, and one of them was a pretty significant explosion. Either way, the autosave system is good enough to render it recoverable..
Runs like-native, I've played about 40 hours throughout all content on Linux
Like-native now with the current version of Proton Experimental! It was completely unplayable before and would just not work but now it works fine :)
Alt-tabbing will often crash the game, especially if you are loading into a server.
(I am a desktop user). I had to use a special gconf file off of github because the default resource Valve requires has a dead dependency. Had to use lib32-gconf-nogtk-nopolkit-noldap and build it manually via makepkg --install.
Fun set of games, but for some reason it makes you wait up to 4 or so minutes to "download" the games on "dialup" because you're running them on this fake old computer. Completely irritating.
Things look... A little artifacty than I remember originally? But these are NOT significant, and you wouldn't really notice as a new player. hard to explain but yeah
Spiral Knights is an MMO so, yeah. It's inherently multiplayer. I could interact with other players.
I used to love this game as a kid! Very fun, but a bit too MTX oriented. They're even hiring more devs after a loooong stagnation in content. A good MMO to try out asides Veloren if you're a Linux player!
