Input and keyboard controls need sorting for this and graphics optimisations for vulkan.
Keyboard controls very bad when going forward would keep moving forward after not pressing any keys.
Had to turn graphics down to low and problems with input control.
Yes the game was very playable even more stable than on windows 10 latest version. I had better control mechanics in the cleaning stations.
Voice volume very low, but worked.
Without latest proton 7.0 RC6 GE-1, I found video tutorial glitches and stability with graphics and audio, but was playable, just not too enjoyable.
You'll have to set Proton version to 4.11, try to run the game once, install .NET 3.5 using winetricks.
Install .NET 3.5 using WINEPREFIX=/home/YOUR_USERNAME/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/568570/pfx winetricks -q dotnet35
Then set Proton version to 5.13. You may need to restart Steam before it works, or manually kill any wine/pressurevessel processes first, Restart the OS, something seems to get stuck at times during install or first run.
Checked on Zorin OS 16 Core works running Dx11 or standard Dx9 version. Not had any problems.
It starts up in Windowed Full screen, so you need to go to settings and set it to full screen. Then save and restart game to take effect.
Only Proton version I used was 8.0-2. You may have to wait for vulkan shaders to load before game starts, thats it.
I only Installed "ProtonUp-Qt" from the website or from Snap.
The game consists of 12 games which all played as origonally intended. Those at 4:3 ratio screen could not be stretched to widescreen.
When choosing "Windowed " mode in options it would no longer run. Keep in fullscreen mode.
Only change was Proton version nothing else needed to be changed or tinkered with.
I never tested a game controller, but everything else seems to work out of the box.
Very playable just a little screen tearing, however the latest Proton GE version fixes all this, on highest graphics settings.
Mainly screen tearing from syncing issues at time, but very playable. I would recomend latest G E version as it fixes this.
I used the default Proton 9.0-2 and worked OOB (Out Of the Box).
Have played a significant amount of time on Linux, doing a full re-run of the game, getting better frame rates on linux than on windows 10/ 11.
Played straight out of the box, with no problems on highest graphics settings.
Plays better on Linux than it does on Windows 10.
