Customizations:
I had to install mf-install (Media Foundation workaround for Wine). To install this without having to install Wine, use the following syntax:
WINEPREFIX="$HOME/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/451340/pfx" PROTON="/$HOME/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/Proton 4.11" ./mf-install.sh -proton
Performance:Significant Performance Problems
The game doesn't perform very well, even on low graphics. But this seems normal. :-(

Crashed on me one time during the tutorial.

As long as you single-task this game. You can't watch a video at the same time.
Performance:Slight Performance Problems
The performance in full screen is fine, but if you have a second monitor with active elements, like a video, the game and the video runs terrible. So no multi-tasking. I haven't found a solution to this yet.
Unfortunately, at the time of writing, the game is full of gameplay bugs. Do your research if these are acceptable for you.
