only was able to play it with proton ge, if you use it then youll find it pleasant -- multiplayer is broken without proton ge

everything works perfectly but when using the UI in the game to select a map and stuff it takes like a minute to actually load and the game freezes
i dont know a solution for this
opening menus is buggy (takes a minute or so to load) multiplayer kept disconnecting everyone because of de-sync issues. fixed by using proton ge
Runs at around 70-90 FPS on Linux, yet 200+ FPS on Windows
Will be playing on Windows cause the FPS is much higher for 240hz monitor However for people on Steamdeck etc, this will run pretty well on Linux with Proton :)
ESEA Client does not have a Mac OS/Linux version currently and there are no plans to expand the availability of the client in the future.
DO NOT INSTALL THE NATIVE STEAM VERSION IF YOU WANT THE LATEST VERSION OF THE GAME AND WANT TO PLAY MULTIPLAYER!!!!

On some occasions when tabbing in and out of the game it becomes unresponsive and needs a hard restart. Not sure if it's Proton GE. Performs really well otherwise
