For my PS4 controller, I had to enable playstation controller configuration to ensure the game detected it correctly. Without this, only the keyboard would work.
The opening videos will not play by default, and instead simply black screen. To fix this, I simply installed the Media Foundation libraries into the prefix, using mf-install: https://github.com/z0z0z/mf-install After doing this, the game worked absolutely flawlessly.
Minor issues, but game is completely playable.
The new media library in Proton is still WIP, so videos aren't displayed and instead show colourful stripes and a rectangle of static. They can still be skipped, and don't cause any issues functionality wise.
As other's have stated, using mf-install on the proton prefix will fix the blackscreen. Once installed, the game runs flawlessly, even using DXVK.
