Runs perfectly where native does not
The native version is (at least at launch) completely broken with graphical glitches, performance issues and such. But fortunately I was able to force it to run with Proton and it works perfectly.
Needs kernel with fsync patch
From tips here I got it to run after installing Media Foundations and setting the launch options to 'taskset -c 0-15 %command%', however the performance was completely absymal - it would average around 12-13fps with dips to single-digit and maxed out at 30fps, this was very noticable even on the title screen and changing the graphics settings didn't increase it in the slightest. I read that the fsync kernel patch might help slightly with performance so I decided to build 5.9.1 with the patch (had to make some changes manually as it didn't apply cleanly). After booting it I can say that the difference in performance is, put simply, staggering - now it hovers around 80fps with no noticable dips on Ultra settings.
Works perfectly
Have played for more than 70 hours now with no issues whatsoever. Haven't noticed any stuttering whatsoever.
