Running in virtual desktop
Audio is occasionally missing from cutscenes.
Both the Uplay and Steam overlays caused issues -- e.g. Steam would crash the game -- so I disabled both.
Initially, I was getting an extremely low resolution. Launching through a virtual desktop allowed me to set the correct resolution in the game's configuration menu.
Works well using latest Proton
Running natively caused some graphical issues with missing icons making it impossible to play the game, but manually setting Proton to use 5.0.7 made it work great.

Installed the Epic Store through Lutris; launching the game through there.
I kept running into issues when launching initially -- the Rockstar Launcher would often refuse to start the game. After retrying many times, it now works flawlessly and consistently.
Default Steam Play is better than custom Proton
I used the GE version of Proton when first starting the game, but would get stuttering after about an hour of playing. After reverting to the out-of-the-box, default Proton, things work perfectly!
