Most people would want to play the N64-port, which is unplayable. Would not recommned until that's fixed.
Buttons not mapped properly in PS1 mode, had to manually remap in the emulator settings (press ESC)
Game contains two versions: the actual new verison, which is a recompiled port of the N64 game, and the PS1 version which runs as a ROM in an emulator. The N64 one does not run at all. The PS1 one runs fine; it can't save but that's a game bug not Proton bug. Use emulator save states to save.
This is for the Windows/N64 version. The PS1 version always worked (as it's an emulator) but is janky.

Some trouble with alt-tabbing while in Fullscreen
Took a while to start up
As of patch 1.1 this now works in Proton; I tried it without changing my compatibility settings from testing pre-1.1 so this may work without the launch options. The game took a while to load but otherwise seems to work fine.
Works as well as Lutris did if not better. Will have to test again if patching breaks it but otherwise I expect no issues playing this.
Used GE-Proton out of habit, probably not required. If you have graphical issues make sure you have dxvk enabled if possible.
login window is a bit of a pain to type in. Definitely doable (especially if you're used to it) but I used a keyboard
minor stuttering during animations, but expected continuing it stutters on equivalent phone/PC hardware
The game isn't well optimized in general so expect some animation stutters and slowness, but otherwise very playable.
6.15-GE-2 GloriousEggroll
Use -d3d11 to run the game with DirectX 11
Some stuttering during gameplay
Crashed at least once during play, froze a few times in the menus
Without using Glorious Eggroll, none of the cutscenes play.
Force Proton experimental (or any version as some other reports are saying) and it works perfectly.
Minor issues with alt-tabbing where the screen would go black, but could be local setup and not game.
Running OOB results in the game crashing after a few minutes.
