I usually use proton experimental, but for this game I had to drop it down to the current version instead, otherwise it would complain about being out of memory.
works great after installing protontricks and running the following command,
protontricks 359320 -q remove_mono winxp dotnet40 win7 dxvk
Protontricks did through some errors and first launch of the game thew one error, but ok your way through and the game runs pretty much perfectly.
Game launches fine and runs as expected, I did run into an issue where EAC was kicking me out, but I removed the gammode launch option.

It does use EAC, but it works great on linux
if you run into issues with EAC disable gamemode and it should work
Disallowed Memory Modification
The game launches successfully, easy anticheat loads sucessfully, easy anticheat logs are clean and all indicators point to EAC working as intended, even the .so file gets successfully loaded and used, however the game launches to a screen that says "Disallowed Memory Modification" and the only button presented is the exit button. The game will stay open and does not crash, but you also can not play.
