Everything generally works, fullscreen and windowing works on wayland using sway.
This may be an issue with my specific configuration, in my sway config I have bindsym $mod+Shift+q kill, but sometimes the game just will not close, requiring me to kill it again by sending sigterm.

There is now a native Linux version. You may get a missing executable error if you launch through steam. To fix this:
- right-click on the game in your library
- enable "Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool" This will force steam to update your game files.
- disable "Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool". You are now downloading the native Linux version and do not need any compatibility tools.
