This is an interactive art installation, not a game. Just relax, and enjoy it for what it is.
After I moved the game to another window and resized the window the cursor displayed about 100 px below what it was highlighing. Restarting the game fixed the issue.
Played foe 1/2 hour without significant issues
Played for 25 minutes, no issues
The voice acting is really important in this game. I don't think many gamers would play this with the character voices missing.
I can't hear any of the characters speaking. Other than that, the audio is fine - I can hear background noises and music just fine.
DXVK_FRAME_RATE=60 %command%
I had missing music and dialog. Hat tip to Lysander and Warren in the comments below, their method fixed the issue - Thanks!
- Install winetricks
- From CLI, browse to the steam "compatdata" sub-folder and then go into the sub-folder (72850) for Skyrim
- execute "WINEPREFIX=$PWD/pfx winetricks --force xact" [without quotes]

Slight studdering at a few points in the intro. Adding the launch option "DXVK_FRAME_RATE=60 %command%" seemed to fix it
I know, people were using Proton. This broke when I tried to use Proton, and played normally when I set it to use Steam Linux Runtime 1.0
