it's an EA game so maybe thatys the reason but i got kicked from multiplayer match after an hour or so with an error
I played a bit of multiplayer and the game ran very well. I even killed a few other players and met some random people on my team who were friendly and helped me. Game works well on linux!
Works amazingly well on linux and steamdeck
The game runs perfectly on my system and my steamdeck. Controller support and mouse and keyboard support all works out of the box, no crashes so far. Multiplayer just works.
There is an initial error or two when you launch the game stating you have out of date drivers or lack of hardware compatibility, however, just click ok on those and the game still runs normally.
I think the ill informed errors are just because the game doesn't recognise linux but it all works out of the box. They have no affect on the games ability to run. :)

After the latest patch the Angler finally works again on steamdeck! The patch was specifically for steamdeck! Runs great

I was worried because it has a silver rating but this game runs perfectly out of the box.
I needed to use proton experimental to boot the game but I'm sure that will be resolved asap.
Needed to change proton experimental to bleeding edge but otherwise worked perfectly!!
Worked flawlessly out of the box
Using NobaraOS, granted my hardware is is a bit extreme the game runs well out of the box, I didn't need to do any tweaks. No crashes (except me crashing my plane into the ground). Solid 50-60 fps
I realise my system specs are OP but this game ran as smooth as butter. Perfect experience apart from needing to add launch options

launcher needed the launch optioned mentioned otherwise its just black
blank menu on the launcher without tinkering
works flawlessly on POP OS, runs fine even on minimal hardware
For now, needs the older version of proton to be selected but it works perfectly otherwise

Runs like a native steam game, no tinkering required. awesome performance, I was getting 50,000 spartans fighting with great fps

fps around 40 with the occasional 1 second freeze but otherwise fine
