Good experience out of the box
Just install and start playing. Works great :)

Game works as expected, no big issues.
After sleep

Crash when first video cutscene plays for some reason - codec issue perhaps?
Installing GE makes the game playable from start to end. Running Debian unstable. This is probably an encoding issue that prevents cutscene movies to play for some reason. In-game cutscenes that do not play video work great. Tried with latest proton (9.0-3).

Cutscenes are working for me with the default Proton.
Game runs really well, great fit for the Deck.

Scenes did not show at any part of the game and I coudn't keep progressing
I had to install the game on another PC to advance at those moments when a cinematic jumped in, which was problematic because at the end of the game, they interconnect with fights.
Cut scenes are not played.

The only settings I changed were changing it to run in fullscreen mode and set the resolution to 720p. No glitches and everything has been working perfectly!

If using a controller do not use the Key Settings menu. After opening it and selecting an input the game waits for a new kbm input to rebind; all controller buttons give an error noise at this point and there is no way to cancel or close the menu without connecting a kbm or force-closing the game and losing any unsaved progress.
With all standard Proton tools I tried (7, 8, Hotfix, and Experimental as of January '24), the prerendered cutscene about 9-10 minutes into tutorial section (after leaving Cres's clinic) hangs on black screen indefinitely while music continues. Game must be force-quit, losing all progress.
Going on older reports that GE-Proton7-45 allows cutscenes to play, I first tried the newest version as of now, GE-Proton8-25 and can confirm it also/still works in this version. No issues encountered in ~35 hours of gameplay.

Just works
Install, hit play. Works as-is with no special steps.

Cutscenes do not run without GE-Proton7-43

Algunas texturas no cargan, como el cesped, que es de color negro
Durante los diálogos de múltiples opciones siempre se elige la opción del medio (ej.: al crear un personaje, siempre se elige mujer)

The problem from a few months back where the movie could not play, leading to the player could not progess past the first 10 minutes of the game was fixed.
First cutscene (5-10 minutes in) did not play. Game stuck on black screen.
First cutscene (5-10 minutes in) did not play. Game stuck on black screen.
Unable to progress due to movie cutscene not working
Runs great, 60fps locked, cutscenes run fine, no issues.
Cutscenes do not work
Cutscenes will not play meaning you can't even pass the tutorial
Wait for the cutscene issues to be fixed as it's impossible to play the game past the first 15 minutes

Cutscenes don't work
Cutscenes don't work
Cutscenes stay back indefintly
Cutscenes work fine.
No 16:10 support
Cutscenes will not show. Sits in black screen indefinitely.
Game is currently borked due to cutscenes not showing. You won't be able to progress past the first 5 minutes. This seems to be the case on all proton branches.
Game is surprisingly light on the hardware, no adjustments needed.
Unfortunately there is no 16:10 support. Ever present black bars.

If you're planning on playing this on Steam Deck/Linux, I'd wait until they can get the pre-rendered cutscenes working again.
Tried Proton Experimental and GE 7.0-6, same results
Pre-rendered cutscenes aren't working. Experimental and GE 7.0-6 will cause a black screen and keep you there, making you unable to progress
Feels like a native Linux game.

Runs 1440p docked pretty well. FSR to 4k is decent.

I needed to use proton experimental to boot the game but I'm sure that will be resolved asap.

In desktop mode, I couldn't get past character creation.
Aside from control buttons being different from expected and bug on desktop mode on the deck, I'm really enjoying this game! It's beautiful in handheld and runs beautifully.

GE-Prton is a must if you want to watch the rendered cutscenes, The game does not have nateve resalution if playing in fullscreen you have the option for 720 or 1080. 1080 does play but does have the occasional stutter/fps drop
No blurriness like switch version . Seems to primarily stay @ 60fps . proton 7.0-4 runs as expected. added exe as non steam game
Works well OOTB! Control buttons are reversed, but no biggie. It also works well on the Aya Neo Air and PC...
Solid performance on Steam Deck, but requires GE until the default proton fixes the few pre-rendered cutscenes.
7 watt TDP cap will still give you a locked 60fps and 3.5 hrs battery life.
Certain pre-rendered cutscenes appear to have issues. GE Proton required to fix that.
Hopefully Square or Valve will correct those cutscene glitches.
