Game seems to run well, with only some small stuttering that was only a minor distraction. I only tested the tutorial but it took about 2.5 hours.
Game ran well enough, only issue noticed was black patches randomly on the ground, which didn't seem to have any effect.
Proton beta 3.16-4 does not work. Notabilly using wine D3d11 locks up the pc until you kill the task using ctl + alt + f1-6.
Proton 3.7-8 does work out of the box without any launch options. Without disabling esync the texture quality is low, even when it says it is on high. Not because it is old but the resolution of some textures is like the signs of morrowind. In addition pressing escape causes the game to hang for about 10-20 seconds, while audio still plays in the background.
With esync disabled the game looks pretty good, no resolution issues but only works on the first level of the game. At the end of the first level, before the loading screen, the screen goes black, and stays black. I was able to open a terminal window with ctl + alt + t, but could not kill the process. I could kill wineserver fine but the game was still open with the black screen. In the end had to kill the process with the sigkill signal set.
There were also reports on the github page for this game of save corruption but I have not yet saved with my testing.
protontricks --force vcrun2019
Had some issues with full screen. At first it behaved odd, being marked as always above. After disabling always above in KDE and relaunching the game, it appears to work fine with alt tabbing. It may have crashed once while tabbing.
To run you need to use proton 4.11-13. When running on 6.3-8 it gets locked up at the startup logos. With 4.11-13 it won't fully install and you will be missing the Visual C++ 2019 runtime libraries. You can easily get this by running the first time with protontricks. "protontricks --force vcrun2019". This is only needed once, and will install the library. I didn't have proton tricks before, but it is on the AUR for Arch Linux users.
Didn't notice any issues, nothing specifically with the robotic arms I noticed.
Game seems to be fine. Some button issues where pressing buttons do not work. Some issue with all buttons but camera movement buttons disabling, preventing shutting the game down too through the menus.
I can't confirm that windows files work with proton but the native windows version does not exist as stated with the last report. There is a Linux beta but it says its broken. Native support stated to be planned for after early access.
Game is stable for proton 5.0-10. Basically no issues.
Menu title text phasing in and out out, mission start information screen same effect on the very top of the boxes.
Game is stable for proton 5.0-10. Tested with 6+ and got stuck early in loading.
