Worked perfectly without any issues.
some very minor artifacts on detailed model close ups during cutscenes, white dots.
Everything works perfectly, however when shutting down game, occationally it takes a while to quit (1-2 mins) and steam to detect that the proton instance has terminated.
Install Untitled" Project X mod using manual install method
Worked perfectly fine out the box with latest experimental Proton, on first launch the pre-game launcher menu was black, after closing it, and relaunching it on steam, i've had no issues, played through 4-5 hours now and closed/launched the game a dozen times or so and not had any issues, graphical, audio, stability or performance.
Of note, the game is locked to 30FPS for in game, This is not a performance issue, its the game locking the FPS to ensure the animations are synced to the audio etc.
Game loaded perfectly, no issues with Uplay login screen or gameplay Proton 5.0-9
Ran through start of game and tutorial without issues, ran in borderless window mode.
When quiting game, DLL error when game attempts to load Uplay after it terminates, however it is a graceful shutdown after you acknowledge the error and it returns to back to desktop as per normal with no instance of Proton running in the background.
No issues
Works flawlessly, this has been working on Lutris for quite some time however, so this is not unexpected.
