Particle effects reduce my PC to ~10 FPS; low options for everything else ~25 FPS (1080p)
It'd really be nice if E.G. the Office Lv3 zap pool spark area were able work at 30FPS with ease; as the first "easy" to get to area that shows how poorly the settings scale down to my hardware.
Crash at launch, music plays game window does not update, application unresponsive.

I'm able to use curl in the Proton wine instance to download a normal webpage, but the application seems to hang while waiting for some network request.
I've tried both Proton 7.0-5 and the latest GE.
Playback of videos is required to make any progress in the game; they don't play.
To get windowed working properly I had to configure windowed, manually shrink the window down smaller than the target resolution, and only then apply the target resolution (that enlarged the window to match).
Autodetection of GPU hardware in game either failed, or they need to warn about shader compellation causing stutters. Either way reducing settings to Medium was good enough.
The video codec issue is still a major problem; it seems the game relies on cutscenes to provide puzzle instructions and I was only able to deduce what I was missing by reading prior ProtonDB reviews comparing against LP videos.
It's playable with an alpha branch of wine + proton + some patches. This is NOT an official branch, I was extremely curious about the bleeding edge.
Black start screen: Hitting Esc (possibly any other key) or clicking the mouse was required on a black loading screen. I suspect a video format not yet supported by the alpha branch of wine + the patches included by the individual that compiled the build.
As far as I could tell, all of the actual in game videos worked and the game was no worse than I recall seeing someone stream.
Also, I played it for SLIGHTLY under 10 hours (due to already knowing the basis for solving some puzzles) It would be nice if >10 hours was extended to include ">10 hours OR completed the game".
Native, still ~alpha testing (features and major revisions planned)
How fun the game is is likely to change, hopefully for the better, in future versions. The very early 2025 version is excessively grindy and can be difficult to have a good time in.
I was successfully able to complete the entire intended game play loop and unlock the remaining achievements that I hadn't yet accomplished.
Did not test any mods.
"Bug for Bug accurate", would enjoy just as well as they would on Windows or another supported OS.
I did, but I'm nearly positive I've seen these same issues on multiple streamers and youtuber's who've played the game. "Bug for Bug accurate" might be a better description here.
Towards the end of the game there were instabilities in the game it's self; notably with the big submarine (Cyclopse) as a mobile base. Glitching out of it, loosing sync with the floor being a character-relative stable frame of reference, and also some similar issues with the powered-suit having similar reference frame issues.
"Bug for Bug accurate" might be a better description here too; while I didn't see descriptions of the issues I had, general 'buggy-ness' of vehicles is mentioned in many other locations.
