Works great if config app has been run once, and resolution in config app set to any of 640/800/1024.

Config app must be used to set resolution to 640/800/1024. Higher will throw an error. If errors occur with 640/800/1024, uncheck the 1st checkbox in top-left box (Windowed) and check the 3rd checkbox (Add pillarboxes when widescreen.)

Controller rebinding via the game's config app does not appear to work.
