Works great if config app has been run once, and resolution in config app set to any of 640/800/1024.
Config app must be used to set resolution to 640/800/1024. Higher will throw an error. If errors occur with 640/800/1024, uncheck the 1st checkbox in top-left box (Windowed) and check the 3rd checkbox (Add pillarboxes when widescreen.)
Controller rebinding via the game's config app does not appear to work.
Needed to run the config setting program to set resolution to 1024x768 or else the game would exit with an error. Config program needed touchscreen to select options.
Works flawlessly with default settings.
Carrying a previous save from Windows, the game crashes to Desktop if the Window DisplaySize is set to higher than 640x480. Changing the Window size to 640x480 (which is normally the default) in config.txt makes the transition to fullscreen smooth and without issues.
The configuration tool seems to launch fine with Proton 6.3-5, however all text are placeholder characters. Outside of that, game runs flawlessly.
