In Steam Deck since yesterday V1.60 works selecting Bleeding Edge branch of Proton Experimental settings, I test 2 hours without issue (only with little sound cracking)

Limit to 12w 40fps
This game use more GPU than CPU. you can limit TDP without performance loss to 12w. With this I can extend mu battery duration and down temperature.
