Alt-tab in fullscreen causes game window to go black. Windowed mode has serious performance problems.
Game never gets past initial load when using a Steam Controller
Occasional Stuttering
Game doesn't launch anymore after one of the recent updates, unsure which one as I haven't played in a few months
I have tried all the workarounds listed here and on the github/proton issue page and none of it works anymore. I've tried using the default proton, experimental, and various ge-proton builds. I have tried deleting/renaming the various file(s), installing dotnet, recreating the prefix dozens of times, and uninstalling the whole game dozens of times. I've tried all that a 100 different ways, in different orders, sometimes with some steps completely left out, etc, and none of it works anymore. It's strange too because the game used to work after simply deleting only the speechsynth dll, using ge-proton, and fumbling my way through the blank login screen, but now after one of the recent updates it crashes before getting past the initial boot screen and sometimes doesn't even get that far. I'm at my wits end with this one.
Major stuttering
Major stuttering when first going through areas. Likely due to shaders being loaded. Could just be a glitch with my drivers since Navi support is still relatively new, however no other game has this problem for me. Even more demanding games.
game crash after forcing alt-tab
Major frame drops when looking over certain vistas
To get rid of frame drops I turned off vsync, which didn't give me tearing oddly enough. And increased stability greatly. I also changed these settings in user.cfg and made it read only after changing the in-game settings.

GPU Clock set to 600mhz, 40fps
Use the 'Automatic Door Skip' mod found in the guides section. The one with the dll not the one with the exe combined with the launch option I mentioned in order to skip door animations and have faster load times on Linux/Steam Deck.
